Ok several skills to blog about today:
Round off backtuck
I was pretty disappointed today because I din't get to try my hand at round off backtuck. Mrs Kiong deemed my round off to be too slow to be able to launch into a backtuck. So here I am, still at stop and go.
- I was pbserving Biyi's round off and I noticed her prep jump into it covered much more distance than height, while mine is actually high. Maybe changing that aspect can help.
- I need to kick up harder, and snap my legs together.
- Xing gen said I should not think of the round off as several movements, but as one fluid motion. Gonna try that too.
Front Tuck
I was trying the front tuck onto the elevated mat and found that I could land on my ass, meaning I may be able to actuall complete a front tuck. Once again, this boils down to whether I have a pair.
Single Stunts
I can hit straight to extension with Bi yi! However, my liberty still needs some work, and cupie is still somewhat of a myth for me. My liberty grip switching is terrible, which can be attributed to a weak and rushed boost to the exrtension level. Gonna keep working hard to hit the high levels
Cheers
